FYI for all Noodle lovers - at the moment there's a PSA going on that certain noodle packets such as 'Hao Hao Chicken Flavour' should not be consumed due to high levels of pesticide in them.

APPEAL IS ISSUED IN CONNECTION WITH A PRODUCT FOUND TO HAVE HIGH PESTICIDE LEVELS

In a statement, the Directorate of Environmental Health within the Superintendence of Public Health is appealing to the public about a product that should not be consumed because it has been found to contain high levels of pesticide.

The product is 'Hao Hao Chicken Flavor' chicken noodles, branded 'ACECOOK'.

For more information, the public can call the Health Inspectorate Services on 2133 7333 from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm or send an email to mhi@gov.mt.
