Een stage zoeken op Malta vraagt om een iets andere aanpak dan in Nederland. Waar je hier gewend bent aan snelle reacties en duidelijke procedures, werkt dat op Malta vaak wat losser. Dat kan in het begin even wennen zijn, maar zodra je weet hoe het werkt, wordt het een stuk makkelijker. Wij moedigen studenten altijd aan om eerst zelf...
Ga je een paar maanden stagelopen op Malta? Dan is één van de eerste vragen bijna altijd:
In de vroege ochtenduren van zaterdag zijn veel bewoners op Malta wakker geschrokken door een aardbeving met een magnitude van 5.1. De beving vond plaats in de Ionische Zee, ten zuiden van Italië, maar was duidelijk voelbaar in verschillende Maltese plaatsen.
Malta is misschien klein qua oppervlakte, maar groots als het gaat om kansen voor studenten. Jaarlijks vertrekken honderden Nederlandse studenten naar Malta om stage te lopen, te werken of een tussenjaar te vullen. Dat is geen toeval.
Ah Malta. Prachtige zonsondergangen, pastizzi tot je erbij neervalt — en een politiek klimaat dat soms voelt alsof regels hier aanbevelingen zijn. Voor iedereen die denkt dat Nederland bureaucratisch is: welkom op Malta, waar "formulieren invullen" vaak wordt gevolgd door "weet je iemand?" 😅
